Overview
The New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth
& Tourism Commission is the state's lead agency in
coordinating efforts between government and the private
sector to provide access to a broad range of technical,
financial and other assistance that helps businesses grow
and contribute to economic development.
Because New Jersey occupies a key position as the central state in the largest economic concentration in North America, the Commission actively promotes a number of financial incentive programs to help businesses that expand or relocate to the state.
In addition to assisting the general business community, the Commission actively supports
and promotes the state’s $36.3 billion travel and tourism industry, which is the
source for 472,326 jobs.
